At the counter we can accept cash U.S. dollars, or the equivalent in euro, and credit card payments (Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Diner’s Club).  No Bancontact.

When paying in cash, please try to bring exact change.

It is not possible to pay for your U.S. citizen service fee by U.S. check or by PIN.

How to Pay for a Mail-in Service

Effective November 24, 2017, the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Brussels, Belgium will no longer accept credit card payments for passport applications by mail. From now on, we will accept only money orders and cashier’s checks/official checks in EURO (in Belgium also known as cheque bancaire/bankcheque) made payable to “U.S. Embassy Brussels” for mail in passport renewals. Cashier’s checks/official checks must be made out to U.S. Embassy Brussels.
