SUBJECT: Maintenance and repair of barriers, gates and doors
The Embassy of the United States in Brussels invites you to submit a proposal for maintenance and repair of barriers, gates and doors owned by the U.S. Government at the U.S. Embassy Brussels.
Proposals may be submitted in electronic format. The electronic proposal should be submitted via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.
Alternatively, your proposal can be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Maintenance and repair of barriers, gates and doors 19BE2022Q0014” to the U.S. Embassy, Regentlaan/Bd. Du Régent 27, 1000 Brussels.
Please inform us via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov that a hard copy of your proposal can be expected.
In both cases, please submit your offer on or before 1600 Hrs. September 26, 2022. No proposal will be accepted after this time.
In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:
- Section 1, Pricing Schedule
- 3. Section 5, Representations and Certifications
- Additional information as required in Section 3
The site visit will be held on September 15 at 10 AM at Regentlaan 27, 1000 Brussels. Prospective offerors/quoters should contact Brigitte Swietek at email address BrusselsBids@state.gov prior to September 13, 2022 at 1PM local time, to confirm their attendance. See the Attachments of the enclosed Request for Quotations (RFQ) for more information.

The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of their proposal. The guidelines for international registrations in SAM are available at: https://be.usembassy.gov/sam/
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
