What is it all about:
The seminar is an ideal opportunity for companies interested in doing business in the USA and Latin America. For beginners but also for experienced companies it is useful to connect to stakeholders in the field and gain important information on how to do business with and in America.
Speakers of the Commercial Service and of the Consular Office from the American Embassy Brussels will tell the participants about opportunities in the USA and what to do to be successful. Also information about the visa procedures will be given. The Brussels Trade and Investment officer will tell the participants about the do’s and don’ts of doing business in the USA and how the Brussels government can help Brussels companies in the USA to start or expand.
The USA has 50 states, where do companies start? Which state to choose to begin? Should we adapt our product or way of business? Who can we go to for advice? You will hear about all these issues during the seminar.
In this seminar the state of Florida will be highlighted. Florida is not only the 4th economy of the USA but also very interesting for companies focusing on Latin America.
Last but not least, several Belgian companies operating in different key sectors, and already active in the USA, will explain the participants how they conquered this enormous market and share practical tips with the audience.
The walking lunch will offer an ideal opportunity to network and discuss more in detail.
