Description:
The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a proposal for the cleaning and sweeping of open fireplaces and the chimneys of these open fireplaces in U.S. Government owned and /or rented residences and apartments located predominantly within the Brussels Metropolitan area.
Proposals may be submitted in electronic format. The electronic proposal should be submitted via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Please mark clearly: “19BE2023Q0009 Chimney Cleaning” as the subject in your offer and all the communication.
Alternatively, your proposal can be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “19BE2023Q0009 Chimney Cleaning” enclosed to the U.S. Embassy, Regentlaan/Bd. Du Régent 27, 1000 Brussels.
Please inform us via email to BrusselsBids@state.gov that a hard copy of your proposal can be expected.
Please submit your offer on or before 16:00 Hrs. PM on May 19, 2023. No proposals will be accepted after this time.
The Work Statement and all other terms and conditions are contained in the enclosed Request for Quotation (RFQ). The contract which will result from this RFQ is estimated to run for one base year, with four one-year options, pending availability of funds.
In order for a proposal to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following:
- SF-1449 (page 1 of RFQ) Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items (blocks 12 thru 26, as appropriate, and blocks 30a, 30b and 30c.
- Section 1, Pricing Schedule.
- Section 5. Representations And Certifications.
- Additional information as required in Section 3.
The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of their proposal. The pre-proposal conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10 AM local time via Microsoft Teams (including dial-in option). Prospective offerors/quotes should contact Jessi Copeland at Brusselsbids@state.gov prior COB May 3rd to confirm their presence.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
