At the counter we can accept cash U.S. dollars, or the equivalent in euro, and credit card payments (Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Diner’s Club).  No Bancontact.

When paying in cash, please try to bring exact change.

The Embassy rate of exchange is determined by the Department of State.

Up to and including January 31, 2023, the exchange rate is $1=€1.
As of February 1, 2023, the exchange rate is $1=€0,95.

It is not possible to pay for your U.S. citizen service fee by U.S. check or by PIN.
