Cisco Video Telepresence Service Contracts

In order to provide maintenance and serviceability on all operational Cisco Video Telepresence Equipment and comply with Department of State security requirements and Video Program Office Policy.

These annual Service Contracts will provide a continued guarantee of serviceability and maintenance. The contractor will be required to not only provide the logical Cisco Service Contract from a certified Cisco Reseller, but also the physical maintenance of all installed Telepresence devices and attached peripheral equipment. These devices are listed below.

Cisco Telepresence SX 80 x 1

Subsequent to approval and funding, the selected contractor will be available for on- call/on-site visits to check and maintain the Cisco devices described above.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

A recent change in U.S. Government Regulations, requires us to confirm the telecom equipment and services used by all our partners.  Specifically, we need to know if you use any equipment or services provided by Huawei Technologies company, ZTE Corporation, Hytera Communications, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, Dahua Technology Company or any of their subsidiaries. We call this technology “covered equipment.”

Should you need more in-depth details, you will find the contractual language and definitions in the attached document.

For us to proceed with our current and future orders we need answers to the following questions :

  1. Are you providing covered telecommunications equipment or services (from the companies above) to the U.S. Government?  (YES / NO)
  2. Do you use any telecommunications equipment or services from any company listed above? (YES / NO)

If you answer no to the two questions above (i.e. that you do not provide or use “covered equipment or service”), no additional information is required.

Subject: PR9223523 – HI-FI – UPGRADE

U.S. NATO is looking to establish an official residential sound system contract. The sound specialist will install commercial, lifestyle sound technologies that are innovative and easy to use at Truman Hall, the U.S. Government owned and leased official residence for the Chief of Mission to the U.S. Mission to NATO

The audio system must be multi-room capable to include coverage of outdoor entertainment areas. Integrated, matrix-switching technology to select music from any array of sources – radio, mp3 players, wireless microphone, and other components – must be available and equally distributed or selected throughout dedicated entertainment spaces. A single touch screen, keypad, and/or mobile device will provide instant access and functionality to all of the desired music sources anytime and anywhere from the residence.

The residence has a robust wireless internet network that will allow for internet connectivity.

The contractor will need to be available by providing contact information in the event of an outage and/or equipment malfunction. All equipment will be procured, installed, configured, and maintained by the contractor. The contractor will also be responsible for providing training on the new system to all tenants of the official residence to include embassy and official residence employees. Obsolete technology will also need to be removed, if required, and returned to official residence staff prior to the installation of any new equipment.
