The U.S. Embasssy has a requirement for a firm to renovate and upgrade the existing family kitchen at a Government owned residence in the Brussels area in Belgium. This renovation effort is estimated between € 88,652.00 and € 221,600 ($ 100,000 and $ 250,000) and needs to be completed in 6 to 10 weeks. This work is for the re-modeling of an existing family kitchen in a Government owned residence.

All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

• Be able to understand written and spoken English;

• Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;

• Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;

• Have all licenses and permits required by local law;

• Meet all local insurance requirements;

• Have no adverse criminal record;

• Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States;

• Have good experience and past performance records; and,

• Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
