Become a Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellow and Spend 4 weeks in the U.S. this Summer.
As it did in previous years, the U.S. Embassy in Brussels invites Belgian students who will be 16, 17, or 18 years old on June 27, 2015 to write an essay in English – between 500 and 750 words – on the following topic this year:
“America: A Love-Hate Relationship? Explain!”
The two Belgian winners will take part in a prestigious exchange program in the United States in the summer of 2015 which focuses on the global issues that both European and American youth face thanks to interactive activities, practical experiences, and other hands-on opportunities. The Benjamin Franklin Summer Institute is an all-expense paid program, including meals, transportation, health insurance, books, tickets to cultural events, and more.
