The Embassy of the United States of America is conducting an Auction selling used household furniture, appliances, office furniture, new construction materials, and equipment. The Auction will be held from Tuesday, April 20, 2021 to Friday April 23, 2021 via our online auction website.

Viewing and Bidding:

To complete your registration, interested buyers MUST also send an email with your first and last name, contact number, and a copy of your ID Card or passport to Again, bidding will be managed through our online auction site, but you must provide your ID and contact information to complete your registration and be eligible to bid. Anyone not in compliance will have their bids retracted.

Because of covid-19, there will be no in-person viewing of lots for this auction.

The auction will open at 08:00 on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 and all bids must be submitted by 16:00 on Friday, April 23, 2021. Winners will receive an email notification (see below) directing you to login to view your winning lots. Please send an email to and confirm your intent to purchase by 16.00 on Tuesday, April 27th. All items must be removed from our warehouse by Friday, May 7th.


  1. The items are sold as-is. The United States Government does not give any guarantee for the items sold.
  2. The government reserves the right to withdraw any item from the sale for its own use before the sale opens.
  3. The Government reserves the right to reject any submission which may be considered non-compliant with the value of the property or reject any submission when there is suspicion of collusion, complicity, or corruption.
  4. Any applicable taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
  5. Items must be removed with the purchaser’s own equipment and support. US Embassy staff cannot load vehicles. All items must be picked up by Friday, May 7th.

Additional Information:

Payment for the lot (s) must be made to the BE85 0018 1407 5206 account, BIC code (SWIFT) GEBABEBB with number of the lot (s) in the “Communication” section by Tuesday, April 27th. Confirmation of payment must be forwarded immediately. Lots that have not been paid for by Friday, April 30th will revert to the second-best offeror.

For the removal of lots, buyers must contact Mr. Frankie Van Dessel at or +32 473/603155. The removal of lot(s) will only be done by appointment from Monday May 03, 2021 to Friday May 07, 2021. In addition, driver, any additional workmen, and vehicle plate information is required to make an appointment. All appointments are first come, first served. The Warehouse is located at Fabrieksstraat 13, 1930 – Zaventem.

The buyer is requested to appear only on the day and time scheduled by Mr. Van Dessel and to provide one or more vehicles with sufficient capacity to remove all lots being claimed in a single visit. In addition, the buyer must provide sufficient staff to load his / her lot(s). Two people minimum are required. To maintain social distancing, the staff of the U.S. Embassy warehouse will not be authorized to help load the lot(s). Lots will be pre-staged for the buyer on the loading dock in advance of his/her scheduled collection time.
